Blossom Barn Cidery was founded by Jeremy Hall and Erin Chaparro in 2018. After falling in love more than two decades ago, united by a passion for Oregon’s alluring landscapes and sharing this fertile land’s bounty with friends at backyard barbecues, they decided to uproot themselves from their community in Eugene and build a new life on Jeremy’s family’s farm in southern Oregon. Jeremy and Erin moved in and converted their family farm into an eco-friendly perry orchard powered by solar arrays and maintained using the organic methods introduced by Jeremy’s parents many years ago.
The simplicity of hard cider has always appealed to Jeremy and Erin. Made from apples and pears, this alcoholic beverage has a rich history of being produced and shared cooperatively. And while it’s tasty on its own (on the trail or in the raft), cider also has the complexity to enhance gourmet dinners shared with friends and loved ones.

For three generations the Naumes Family has grown premium pears and apples in Southern Oregon. True to their farming background, they are a little obsessed when it comes to growing fruit. In 2013 the Naumes Family decided to enter the wine industry and converted an old apple orchard into a six-acre, Pinot Noir vineyard. Fast forward to today and they have expanded our vineyards in the Rogue Valley region of Southern Oregon to include Grenache, Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris varietals. Then and now, each vine is painstakingly planted and trained by hand to ensure the best possible growing conditions. Only the highest quality fruit can produce the best wines.

Wine grapes are grown on a south-facing “Rocky Knoll” in the middle of Dunbar Farms, with mature Bordeaux varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Merlot. Our oldest vines, planted in the mid-1970s, are one of the earliest modern grape plantings in the Rogue Valley. The combination of mature vines, warm days, and cool evenings is ideal for producing elegant, sophisticated wines. The Rocky Knoll brand has won many awards over the years for our Bordeaux blends. Also offered are three white wines under our Dunbar Farms label: Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.
The Tasting Room is open Thursday to Sunday serving a regular menu of paninis, soups, salads, and wine friendly appetizers for lunch and wood fired pizzas, soups, entrees and salads for dinner. We are excited to offer our white wine, along with our award winning Rocky Knoll red wines.
